Welcome to Beijing Information Technology College (BITC).

Founded in 1954, BITC is a public full-time higher vocational-technical college approved by the Ministry of Education of the P.R.C. In recent years, BITC has been selected as the key higher vocational college construction project of the National Model Higher Vocational College Construction Plan, which is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance of the P.R.C., and the high-level higher vocational college and majors construction project with Chinese characteristics. Over the years, BITC has closely linked to the trend of industrial upgrading and technological change, dynamically adjusted and optimized the majors system, focused on the majors of integrated circuits, new generation information technology, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, etc. , and has been known as the cradle of technical talents in the electronics industry.

BITC consistently fosters reform and development through openness, coordinating the two aspects of "bringing in" and "going out". Since 1998, BITC has taken the initiative to strengthen international education exchanges and cooperation, and successively developed educational cooperation projects with partners from different countries. In 2008, BITC has being building actively a brand of “Studying at BITC”, more than 3,000 international students have come to study at BITC. It was also in 2018, BITC integrated into the Belt and Road Initiative, concentrated on its advantageous majors and selected suitable points for cooperation, and successfully constructed overseas college in Egypt, expanded cultural exchanges, strengthened talent training, and carried out high-level cooperative education, which has become a distinctive model in the internationalization process of China’s vocational education.

Cultures become diverse through exchange and rich through mutual learning. Intercultural exchange and mutual learning are important impetuses for the progress of human civilization and world peace and development. BITC welcomes outstanding young people from all over the world, and will also provide various support for international students.
